We love Florida citrus! Crops included in this group are oranges, grapefruits, and tangerines. The growing season is almost all-year round from September until June. Peak-production runs from late-October until the end of December, depending on the fruit. Citrus is picked ripe, so they are ready to eat once purchased. Look for fruit that is heavy for its size. Store them in the refrigerator so they’ll last longer.
