Avocado Spread


  • 1 large ripe Florida avocado, mashed
  • 1 8-ounce package low-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Combine ingredients in a plastic container and mix well. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Store dip in plastic container with plastic wrap touching the surface of the dip, making sure there is no air between the dip and plastic wrap.

Yield 8 servings

Tip: Serve with veggies as a dip or use in place of mayonnaise on a sandwich
